Lindsay Harris Friel earned an MFA in Playwriting from Temple University. Her play, Traveling Light, was produced in Philadelphia in 2013 by Liam’s Sofa Cushion Fortress, and in Minneapolis in 2010 by Theatre Pro Rata. Her play Walter’s Table was produced in April, 2014, as part of the Radical Jewish Philadelphia Symposium. It’s Kevin’s Show was a semi-finalist for the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center’s 2012 National Playwrights Conference. She has also written a screenplay (Who Is Cattle Kate?), participated in writing a sitcom (The Station), and theater reviews for Phawker.com. She wrote and produced the science fiction audio drama podcast, Jarnsaxa Rising. She lives in Philadelphia with her rock star/crime-fighter husband, a small menagerie, and puppets waiting to be made. She is a member of the Dramatists Guild.
For seven years, Lindsay wrote articles for The Podcast Host, helping podcasters start or improve podcasts of all kinds. Currently, she edits and publishes The Fiction Podcast Weekly, a free newsletter for people who make audio drama and fiction podcasts.
